A fine, detailed, and well-illustrated monograph by the wasp specialist Franz Friedrich Kohl (1851-1924). It was published in the Annalen des K.K. naturhistorischen Hofmuseums, volume 11. The illustration on the title page shows the Museum. Some very light spotting. An extraordinary, sumptuously bound copy. Rare in this state. Overlooked by Derksen & Scheiding (Horn-Schenkling II).
