A seldom-seen, massive work on parasitic wasps, often of major agricultural importance, written by the Romanian entomologist and agronomist Mihai Constantineanu (1894-1993). With excellent illustrations of whole animals and taxonomically important parts. For the first two volumes he was awarded the "Emil Racovită" Academy Prize (see Wikipedia). Several new taxa are introduced here. Wrappers with some shelf wear, otherwise a very good, clean set.
