A rarely seen complete copy, including the atlas, of a large monograph on Mesozoic ammonites from Tunisia, Northern Africa. The species discussed are well-described and well-figured. Several species are described as new. The author, Léon Pervinquière (1873-1913) was a French palaeontologist, malacologist, geologist and geographer active in the Maghreb region. With a handwritten dedication by the author on the first blank recto. Uncut. Wear to covers; small stamp on front covers. Otherwise very good. Cat. BM(NH), p. 1553.
