Trampe, Halle, 1757-1764. Folio-size loose nature printing (36.0 x 22.5 cm). Well preserved nature printing with additional hand-colouring and printed caption.

A rare, early example of nature printing. This print in very good condition. Some very occasional light spotting, and a weak greenish offsetting, perhaps from a once adjacent leaf. Corners a bit wrinkled. Five tiny holes on left hand side. A weak creases at lower left and right margin. No dents or tears present. Fischer Zweihundert Jahre Naturselbstdruck, 7; Stafleu and Cowan, 3763.
