A rare work, by the Italian botanist Luigi Aloysius Colla (1766-1848). It describes and illustrates a new tree or shrub, Viviania psychotrioides. Offprint from the Mémoires de la Société Linnéenne de Paris. Signed by the author on the cover, being a dedication to the Swiss botanist Jacques Denys (also: Denis) Choisy (1799-1859). Some foxing on the plate and text, otherwise very good. Stafleu and Cowan, 1169.
