A very important monograph of the ferns of tropical Asia, and a small part of Oceania. This is the complete volume. A supplement was published in 1917. Written by the Dutch botanist Cornelis Rogier Willem Karel van Alderwerelt van Rosenburgh (1863-1936) who specialized in the ferns of the Malay Archipelago. Book block broken, spine taped. Library stamp on title page, otherwise good. Included is the 1909 'Correcting sheet', with nine pages (versos blank), and a similar, printed wrapper. Stafleu and Cowan, 78.
