A detailed study with excellent illustrations of new and little known species from the Tertiary - probably early Miocene - of Bílina, in Czechia. Constantin Freiherrn von Ettingshausen (1826-1897) was professor of botany at the university of Graz and a major researcher of European Tertiary floras. This work, being the first of a series, was published in the academy's Denkschriften, Mathematisch-naturwissenschaftliche Classe 26. Plates a bit spotted, perhaps less than usual, in all a very good copy. Very scarce.
