A fine illustration of the round-leaved Sarcanthus, drawn and engraved in stone by the famous botanical engraver Georges Severeijns, or Severeyns, after a drawing by his brother Louis. With the original descriptive text added. Depicted together with an amaryllis, A. ( Lycoris) radiata L'Herit. Slight age-toning, tiny perforation on right side, otherwise very good, clean.
