Stuttgart, Schweizerbart, 1929. Broadsheet (107.0 x 89.5 cm). Chromolithograph, printed on one side.

A great chromolithographed poster of a "Rekonstruktion von E. Pfizenmayer unter Zugrundelegung der 1901 an der Beresowka-Kolyma und 1908 am Sangajuvachfluss in N.O. Siberien aus dem Eisboden ausgegrabenen Kadaver und unter der Berücksichtigung der Mammut-Darstellungen aus dem Paläolithikum" ["Reconstruction by E. Pfizenmayer based on the carcasses dug out of the permafrost in 1901 at the Beresowka-Kolyma and in 1908 at the Sangajuvach river in N.O. Siberia and taking into account the mammoth illustrations from the Palaeolithic (Old Stone Age)"]. This poster contains about the first large, modern, accurate representation of a living mammoth. A very good, clean copy.
