Georg Rudolph Boehmer (1723-1803) was a German botanist at the University of Wittenberg, Germany. Over a period of seven years he published a book on plant seeds in seven chapters. Each chapter was defended by one of his students at the university, each to become medical doctor (although one student defended a part not pro gradu doctoris, but pro licentia). Boards with some shelfwear, the paper spotted, old, private library stamp on first title, some scattered, light spotting, a few leaves creased. Otherwise a very good, clean and complete copy. Rare. Pritzel, p. 904. Not in Stafleu and Cowan.
