A seldom-seen, well-illustrated paper, published as the complete volume 11 of the society's Bijdragen tot de Dierkunde. Includes detailed descriptions and fine illustrations. The author, Wilhelmus Johannes Vigelius (1855-1888) was a Dutch invertebrate zoologist (principally malacologist; his thesis was titled Bijdrage tot dc kennis van het excretorisch orgaan der Cephalopoden) and teacher. Wrappers split at fold and slightly frayed and chipped at edges; text and plates fine. Cat. BM(NH), p. 2222.
