A collection of nine papers on lichens, and in particular the history of lichenology (e.g., a well-illustrated 11-page work by P. M. Jørgensen on Linnaeus and his pupils), together forming a 'Festschrift' for the Swedish lichenologist Roland Moberg on the occasion of his 60th birthday. The full colour frontispiece shows Moberg in his laboratory. Cancelled library stamp on the title page, call number in front wrapper top margin, otherwise a very good, clean copy.
