A rare complete set. Well-illustrated. With contributions on, mainly, Lepidoptera (including two full colour plates). Among the authors we see, e.g., the German-Swiss entomologist Max Standfuß (1854-1917) (also with an obituary and portrait), and the Swiss entomologist Friedrich Ris (1867-1931), who was a dragonfly expert in particular. Several new species are described and illustrated here. Inscribed on the front free endpaper recto by W. Kaufmann, who became one of the society's members in 1922, at which point there were 52 members in all. Loosely inserted: the statutes of the Schweizerischen Entomologischen gesellschaft (12 pp.). A very good, complete copy with an teresting provenance and a rare, ephemeral addition.
