Deliberately smaller, removeable title page; translucent blank with stamp "Musterheft No. 114 / 1 November 1938"; 33 aluminium foil leaves (of which 3 folding). Each either in silver or gold, and each with a different embossing. Plain, silver, pitted wrappers.

A fantastic and amazingly large-sized catalogue of aluminium or "tin" foil samples. Usually, the firm's sample catalogues are much smaller, oblong, but this one is fair and square superior, showing not just patterns (here; stars, of different sizes), but also Christmas an easter scenes, with bells and bunnies, etc. These are the gift wrappers that are a gift in themselves. Each leaf stamped on verso with a catalogue number. Edges a bit creased; the front wrapper with a very short, marginal tear; otherwise, in excellent condition. Rare.
