A seldom-seen if not rare, but well-illustrated work on the ablepharine skinks of Central Asia, a group of lizards living in exceptional altitudes, including the Himalayas, and Tibetan plateau. This work however, deals with the westernmost species, all belonging to the genus Ablepharus and subgenera.
